NoiseToys not just for Boys

In dem Workshop "NoiseToys not just for Boys" erlernen die Teilnehmer*innen die Kunst des kreativen Kurzschlusses und bauen gemeinsam mit Alwin Weber (CiruitCircle, METAKNOTEN) aus Dresden ihr eigenes elektronisches Instrument. Dieser gibt seit 2009 weltweit Workshops, Kurse und Konzerte mit dem Fokus auf D.I.Y.- Elektonik und CircuitBending. Es gibt jede Menge Bausätze (SupaLoopa, MIXA, Screamo, LdeRRoR, SillySolderIronSynth, TouchSynth) zur Auswahl und ansonsten sind alle Werkzeuge usw. vorhanden. Einfach vorbeikommen und mitlöten.

noisio - synth selber löten: DIY means Do It Yourself!

Baue dir beim noisio Lötworkshop deinen eigenen 8-Bit Mini-Synthesizer. Zum Beispiel das Photonotron - ein licht-sensitives Theremin, mit dem du Klänge zwischen Retro und Chaos erzeugen kannst. Oder die ATtiny Punk Console, welche sich über ein Audiosignal programmieren lässt. Ebenso ist der 10-stimmige LevitationOSC dabei - ein Drone-Synthesizer mit mannigfaltigen Sounds und Funktionen, sowie bestimmt der ein oder andere Bausatz aus dem noisio Reisekoffer...
Kits von easy bis peasy :) Keinerlei Vorkenntnisse nötig!

Welcome to the skill sharing seasion of the wearable sound art with diy and lofi approach. Using limitations and mostly upcycled materials, we will be simply mounting circuits of sound toys onto clothes or wearable mounts (bring yours if you can) while learning basics of circuit bending, toy amplification and become a walking sound emitting entity if you into that. For super beginner soldering instructions can be collectively provided!

Other ideas are welcome and if you want to showcase any of your noise projects - please do!

Anyone and any levels welcome. Bring your own sound toys and any other parts if you have , preferably scavenged: check ur local fleamarkets, dusty cellar or nearest trash!

No knowledge required. no theory/ no skills/ no expectations/ no masters/ no followers/ just anarchic nerding fun experimenting with electronics, noise and surroundings, exchanging knowledge, inspirations, collab planning, turning knobs/poke inside circuit boards and release the wild circuit monster!

battery powered speakers, sound effects/ toys/ machines/radios, audio/aux cables, jacks, screwdrivers, variable resistors, crocodile clips, etc
